The
concrete screw provides fast, secure anchoring, utilizing a hardened screw
with specially fashioned high and low threads that cut into the properly
sized hole and thread into concrete, masonry, brick, block, etc. This high
quality screw has a corrosion resistant coating for demanding
environments. Installation is accomplished through the use of specially
designed carbide bits, and becomes an even faster operation when used with
the concrete screw drive tool. The concrete screw system eliminates the
need for plastic or lead anchors in medium and light duty applications,
and can be removed if desired without excessive damage to the surrounding
surface.

1. Always wear safety
glasses.
2. Follow drill manufacturer's safety instructions.
3. Use only solid carbide-tipped bits meeting ANSI B94-12 tip diameter.
4. Drill the hole perpendicular to the work surface. To assure full
holding power, do not ream the hole or allow the drill to wobble.
|
|
5. Drill the hole a
minimum of 1/4" deeper than the maximum embedment depth of the
anchor (minimum anchor embedment should be 1").
6. Place anchor through fixture into drilled pilot hole and drill in
with hex socket or phillips bit.
